Gulab Jamun Recipe Made With Balain Sooji

Everyone's favourite gulab jamun recipe made with the goodness of Balian Sooji from the house of Bambino Pasta Foods. This version of the gulab jamun recipe is super easy and quick, you’ll forget about buying the pre-mix gulab jamun packets and make this sooji gulab jamun recipe at home instead.

Methods:

Ingredients: 

For the Sooji Gulab Jamun mixture
– 500g Balian sooji from the house of Bambino Pasta Foods
– 1 cup milk
– 3 Tbsp Sugar
– 2 Tbsp ghee
– 2 Cups of oil

For the Syrup
– 1 cup sugar
– Water as per preferred syrup thickness
– Half a lemon
– 1 tsp elaichi powder

Method:

  1. Heat the pan.
  2. Add Balian Sooji from the house of Bambino Pasta Foods into the pan and roast for 2 minutes. 
  3. 1 cup of milk to be added to the bambino sooji mixture
  4. Mix well and add in 3 spoons of sugar and 2 spoons of ghee and give it a good stir until they blend into the sooji mixture
  5. Once the sooji dough is ready start rolling the sooji gulab jamun mixture into equal-sized circles and keep aside.
  6. Take a kadai and heat 2 cups of oil, put the sooji gulab jamun into the hot oil and deep fry until golden brown
  7. To prep the syrup for the sooji gulab jamun, take a pan and add 1 cup of sugar and water, mix well until the sugar dissolves
  8. To the syrup mixture add half a lemon juice and elaichi powder
  9. Add the gulab jamun to the syrup and let it soak.
  10. Garnish with chopped dry fruits
  11. Serve the sooji gulab jamun hot.
