Everybody’s favourite biryani, with a twist of Vermicelli! Vermicelli biryani or semiya biryani recipe is a unique fusion biryani recipe made with Bambino vermicelli or semiya. It is a perfect alternative for people who cannot have rice in their diet. This Bambino vermicelli recipe is made with the same ingredients and spices as a traditional biryani and only the rice is replaced with Bambino vermicelli. This semiya biryani recipe is sure to be your go to lunch box recipe!

Ingredients

  • 2 cup Bambino vermicelli
  • 3 tsp oil
  • 1 carrot
  • 2-3 french beans
  • 1 potato
  • 1 onion
  • ½ tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp biryani masala
  • 1 green chilli
  • coriander leaves
  • mint leaves
  • Salt to taste

Method

  • Add 3 tsp oil to the pan and heat it
  • Add biryani masala, onion, green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, and fry for 2 minutes
  • Add all chopped vegetables, and mint leaves. Cook it for 4-5 minutes
  • Add 2 cups of water and boil it. Add salt to taste, 1 cup Bambino vermicelli, and cook for 3 minutes
  • Simmer until water is absorbed and vermicelli has become soft. Garnish with coriander leaves
  • Your Bambino Vermicelli biryani is ready, serve hot
