Sooji Waffles Recipe Using Balian by Bambino Sooji

These crispy delights will have your taste buds singing with joy. So, grab your waffle maker, and let's get cooking!

Methods

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Balian by Bambino Sooji (Semolina)
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup chopped vegetables (optional)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Cooking spray or oil for greasing
  •

    Method:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine Balian by Bambino Sooji, yogurt, water, chopped vegetables (if using), baking powder, and salt. Mix well until you achieve a smooth batter consistency. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes to allow the sooji to absorb the liquids
  • While the batter is resting, preheat your waffle maker according to its instructions. Make sure it’s nice and hot before pouring the batter
  • Once the waffle maker is hot, lightly grease it with cooking spray or oil. Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the center of the waffle maker and spread it evenly. Close the lid and cook for 4-5 minutes, or until the waffles are golden brown and crispy
  • Carefully remove the waffles from the waffle maker and place them on a plate. Serve warm!

  • Feel free to get creative with your Sooji Waffles! Add your favorite ingredients such as grated cheese, herbs, or spices to customize the flavor. You can also try different toppings like savory chutneys or creamy sauces for a gourmet touch.
