- 250g Bambino Pasta of choice (penne, macaroni, spaghetti or fusilli)
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup pine nuts or pistachios (toasted)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chilli flakes and oregano (optional seasoning)
- Boil a pot of water with salt and add in the Bambino pasta, cook according to the package instructions until al-dente
- For the pesto sauce, take a grinder and add in the basil leaves, parmesan cheese, pine nuts or pistachios, garlic cloves and olive oil. Blend until smooth and creamy, then season with salt and pepper
- Take a pan and on low flame combine the Bambino pasta with the pesto sauce and give it a good mix. If the pasta seems dry add in a little of the pasta water used to boil
