Frequently Asked Questions

What is Nawabi Semiyaan Parfait?
Nawabi Semiyaan Parfait is an Indian fusion dessert where sweet roasted Bambino vermicelli is layered with creamy custard in glasses, similar to a trifle. It combines Indian kheer-style vermicelli with Western parfait presentation.
Can I make Nawabi Parfait without custard powder?
Yes, replace custard powder with cornstarch mixed with vanilla essence, or use rabri (reduced sweetened milk) for a more traditional Indian flavour. The Bambino vermicelli layers pair well with any creamy base.
How far in advance can I make vermicelli parfait?
Bambino vermicelli parfait can be assembled up to 4–6 hours in advance and refrigerated. For longer storage, keep the components separate and assemble just before serving to maintain distinct layers.
