Methods

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Bambino Multi Millet Vermicelli
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp urad dal (soaked and drained)
  • 2 tbsp cashews
  • 1 green chilli, chopped
  • Few curry leaves
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt, as needed
  • 1/2 cup cooked edamame
  • Freshly grated coconut, for garnish
  • Chopped coriander leaves, for garnish

Method:

  • Add 1 cup of Bambino Multi Millet Vermicelli to a saucepan and dry roast for a few minutes until lightly golden. Set aside. 
  • Heat oil in a saucepan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Then add cumin seeds and minced garlic. 
  • Add soaked urad dal and cashews. Sauté until golden brown. 
  • Add chopped green chilli, curry leaves, and onions. Cook until the onions turn translucent. 
  • Pour in water and bring it to a boil. Add the roasted vermicelli, cover, and cook for a few minutes until soft. 
  • Cook uncovered for another minute until the mixture thickens slightly. Add salt as needed and mix in the cooked edamame. 
  • Top with freshly grated coconut and chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot and enjoy!
