Ingredients:
For the Sooji Gulab Jamun mixture
500g Balian sooji from the house of Bambino Pasta Foods
1 cup milk
3 Tbsp Sugar
2 Tbsp ghee
2 Cups of oil
For the Syrup
1 cup sugar
Water as per preferred syrup thickness
Half a lemon
1 tsp elaichi powder
Method:
Heat the pan
Add Balian Sooji from the house of Bambino Pasta Foods into the pan and roast for 2 minutes
Add 1 cup of milk to the Bambino sooji mixture. Mix well
Add in 3 spoons of sugar and 2 spoons of ghee. Stir until they blend into the sooji mixture
Once the sooji dough is ready, start rolling the sooji gulab jamun mixture into equal-sized circles and keep aside
Take a kadai and heat 2 cups of oil. Put the sooji gulab jamun into the hot oil and deep fry until golden brown
To prepare the syrup for the sooji gulab jamun, take a pan and add 1 cup of sugar and water. Mix well until the sugar dissolves
To the syrup mixture, add half a lemon juice and elaichi powder
Add the gulab jamun to the syrup and let it soak
Garnish with chopped dry fruits
Serve the sooji gulab jamun hot
