Indulge in a culinary adventure with Bambino Sooji Pizza recipe, a delightful twist on the classic pizza that promises a crunchy, flavorful experience. This unique pizza variation combines the goodness of sooji/rava/semolina with a medley of vibrant toppings, creating a dish that's not only visually appealing but also a treat for your taste buds.
Methods
In a large mixing bowl add Bambino sooji, rice flour, all-purpose flour, curd, salt and give it a good mix
Then add 1⁄4 cup water into the sooji mixture and mix until you get a smooth thick batter which is still at pouring consistency
Cover the batter and keep it aside for the next 15-20 minutes
After 15-20 minutes the rava must have soaked up the water and is still at pouring consistency. If your rava is too thick then add some water
Now to this mix add in 4 cloves of finely chopped garlic and all of the baking soda, and mix vigorously
In a pan add some oil and spread it so that it coats the surface of the pan, and then add two big ladles full of this batter and using the ladle give it a round shape
Cover the mixture on the pan and let it cook for the next 2-3 minutes
Garnish with a generous amount of cheese, olives, oregano & chilli flakes
Cover it and let it cook for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese melts. Make sure the flame is on low.
After 2-3 minutes your pizza should be ready so take it out on a plate and using a pizza cutter cut it into 4 equal slices
Serve hot
Tip: If you want the base to be firmer then just add more of the all-purpose flour and rice flour and reduce the rava by the same amount.
