200g Bambino long cut vermicelli
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon minced ginger
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 medium carrot, julienned
1 cup cabbage, thinly sliced
1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon chilli sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon black pepper
Salt to taste
2 spring onions, chopped
Method
Boil water in a round bottomed vessel and add a pinch of salt
Add the Bambino long cut vermicelli to the boiling water and cook according to the package instructions, usually about 3-4 minutes
Drain the vermicelli and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside
Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or frying pan over medium-high heat and add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant
Add the sliced onion and cook until it becomes translucent
